Josiah’s journey to becoming a counselor began with a deep desire to serve others empathetically and practically. With a unique focus on assisting individuals and families in rebuilding their relationships and healing from trauma, Josiah creates a safe space where personal growth and communication can flourish.
Josiah has significant experience working with children and adolescents and ensures that creative and developmentally appropriate play interventions are applied to help process emotionally challenging landscapes. Throughout his career, he has assisted younger clients process fear, uncertainty, and isolation caused by trauma, anxiety, and tumultuous relational environments. In addition to his work with children and adolescents, Josiah is passionate about helping young men find freedom from pornography and find certainty on their journey toward emotional, relational, and spiritual health.
Outside of counseling, Josiah enjoys spending time with his wife, especially by taking long walks together, spending time outdoors, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen! To help him recharge, he enjoys reading and working on DIY projects and is an avid fan of music and worship. Whether it's spending time with family, diving into a good book, or finding new ways to be creative, Josiah believes in living a balanced and meaningful life as a valuable step to holistic living–professionally and personally!
