Kade Swartz has a Bachelors in Psychology from Liberty University and is currently working towards a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Kade is originally from Rochester, Minnesota and moved to Lynchburg, Virginia to complete his undergraduate degree. He has experience working with children who have behavioral and emotional challenges at Bridges Treatment Center. His time at Bridges has equipped him to take an empathetic approach to difficult situations while setting firm boundaries to address behavioral issues.
Kade is passionate about taking on life's difficulties with individuals or families by utilizing evidenced-based techniques, empathy, and therapeutic rapport. As a Christian, Kade values Biblical truths and the integration of these truths in the counseling process while remaining respectful of the client’s worldview and honoring their choice for the focus of counseling. Kade's desire is to establish personal relationships where individuals and families feel seen, heard, and known.
Kade enjoys being outdoors in any capacity during his free time. He enjoys camping, hiking, disc golf and a variety of other sports/outdoor activities. Kade enjoys doing all these things and more with friends, family, and his dog Beau.
