Alexus earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is continuing her academic journey in a Master’s program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Having lived in Lynchburg, Virginia, for several years, Alexus has worked in the mental health field for over two years, primarily in school settings where she provided care and support to children and adolescents. These experiences have deepened her passion for helping individuals and families navigate challenges with compassion and resilience.

Approaching counseling through a biblical worldview, Alexus integrates spirituality into sessions when appropriate while honoring each client’s unique background and culture. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their struggles, build healthier coping strategies, and move toward healing and growth.

Outside of counseling, Alexus balances working two jobs while volunteering at church, embodying a go-getter spirit. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active in both personal and community life.
