
Andrea Fowler, B.A.
Clinical Focus: Marriage and Family Therapy, Anxiety, Depression, Premarital Counseling (SYMBIS), Relationship Counseling (Gottman Level 1), Crisis Intervention, Life Transitions and Relationship Concerns
~~~ Andrea holds a B.S. in Family and Child Development with a minor in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. She plans to pursue dual licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor after graduation. Andrea is a certified facilitator in SYMBIS and Gottman Level 1, which are programs utilized to address premarital and marital relationship concerns.
Throughout the first few years of her graduate program, Andrea has had the honor of providing mental health services and crisis intervention to college students. She is also trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST), an excellent intervention program for persons considering suicide. Her work with college-age students further developed her passion and skills in helping those struggling with life transitions, relationship concerns, and a variety of mental health diagnoses. Andrea also has experience serving at-risk youth and teenagers with disabilities.
Andrea is passionate about empathetically guiding families, children, and individuals towards spiritual, emotional, and relational healing. She hopes to one day be able to provide workshops and therapeutic events for families who have experienced trauma. In her free time, you can find Andrea trying a new artistic craft, reading a good book or going on an adventure with her husband.
