Jessica has an M.A in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University and is licensed as a Licensed Resident Counselor. Since 2016, she has worked to help individuals, couples and families navigate through life transitions, childhood wounds, at-risk behaviors, and marital stressors.
Jessica values the collaboration and creativity of the therapeutic relationship. She is passionate about creating a therapeutic alliance where clients feel deeply understood, gently challenged, and safe to explore old wounds in new ways. Jessica also recognizes the need to explore health holistically, and values addressing the bio-psycho-social-spiritual impact of client’s lives with a clinical and evidence-based approach.
As a Christian daughter, wife and mother, Jessica takes special care to work with those who feel widowed, alone, childless, orphaned, lost, and shaken from their foundation. She believes that whether you came from a picture-perfect family or a family well acquainted with pain and strife, anyone and everyone can benefit from the counseling process. Jessica honors clients’ resiliency through the challenges they’ve faced but also helps to equip them with new tools and ways of viewing themselves and the world around them to experience greater peace.
On her days off, Jessica enjoys being outside and enjoying friends and family.
