Kelly is both a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Resident in Counseling. She received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, and she is currently pursuing dual licensure as an LMFT and LPC.

Kelly also believes in the importance of fostering holistic well-being across emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational aspects of life for each person who enters her office. Her counseling experience includes work with couples, including those going through rough patches, contemplating divorce, or just hoping to learn new skills for deeper communication and connection. Kelly has also worked with adolescents and adults struggling to process relational conflicts, life transitions, and overwhelming emotions. She is currently completing her basic training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based, effective method for treating a wide variety of trauma experiences.

Kelly passionately believes that everyone can benefit from counseling, and clients don’t need to wait until things seem “serious” to seek out support. Kelly also strives to honor and explore the influence of culture on every person’s experiences, relationships, goals, and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys trying new recipes, making coffee, listening to podcasts, maintaining her fish tank, and reading a good book. She also enjoys traveling with her husband to visit family and friends.
