Rick earned his master’s degree in counseling from Colorado Christian University and is now working toward a master’s in marriage and family counseling from Liberty University.
He grew up skiing and fishing in the mountains of Colorado. He met his wife, Paula, in college and they have been married for over 30 years. After college, Rick and Paula joined a Christian ministry that welcomes American military members and their families into to their home for meals, activities, and Bible study groups. They had the privilege of living near U.S. military installations in Germany and Spain for over ten years. They moved from Spain to Lynchburg in 2021 and have continued to provide hospitality, spiritual formation, and discipleship ministry to those who serve our nation.
During Covid, Rick learned to play disc golf and enjoys playing local courses with family and friends.
