Suzanna holds a B.A. in Religion and an M.A. in Literature from Gardner-Webb University, as well as an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing licensure as an LPC.

Suzanna has worked in a variety of ministries including a pro-family, policy-focused organization in Washington, D.C., an international missions organization, a private Christian school, and in marketing at Liberty University. Suzanna’s varied employment experiences have fostered her love of a multicultural approach to counseling and enjoyment of career counseling. She has worked with the Muslim community, both in the United States and abroad, and has traveled to Europe, South America, and Africa. She deeply values her clients’ personal stories of life and faith, especially within their own cultural experiences. Suzanna employs a multicultural approach to counseling while also holding her own biblical worldview.

Suzanna has studied art therapy under the guidance of Dr. Lisa Sosin and is pursuing certification and registration as a poetry therapist. Poetry therapy often acts as a catalyst in the healing process for many clients and allows an alternate approach to treatment for those who are interested in techniques in addition to talk therapy.

Suzanna has been married to her husband, Jason, since 2001 and they have three children, ranging in age from teen to young adult. She broadens her worldview by traveling with her family as often as she can and also enjoys writing, reading, hiking, and knitting.
